Deserta vīns – salds baltvīns. Gatavots Bordeaux reģionā, Sauternes apgabalā, Francijā.

Vīnogu šķirnes: 45% Sémillon,  35% Sauvignon blanc, 20% Muscadelle.

Vīns ir neatkārtojams sava izsmalcinātā, komplicētā cukurotu augļu, medus un akācijas aromāta dēļ. Garšā vīns atklāj labu struktūru, brīnišķīgu garšu un miesīgumu.

Ieteicams pasniegt  ar pīles gaļu (Foie gras, pīli ar persikiem), Rokforas sieru, šokolādes kūkām, deserteim uz augļu bāzes (augļu groziņi) vai kā aperitīvu. Pasniedz atdzesētu.

The Sauternes appellation is located to the South-East of Bordeaux, between two rivers (the Garonne to the North and the Ciron valley to the West) which influence the climate : the combination of damp mornings and hot, sunny afternoons favours the development of noble rot. The Sauternes Grands Terroirs are the result of a particularly strict selection procedure carried out by the Dourthe oenologists. The blend then creates a wine of character with its complex fruity notes.
